  16. What you will have to do is click on the cross next to the red folder and this will display the jobs already set up (grades).
  17. Now you will have to create an identical grade for each grade, which attracts 2 different, types of leave accruals. To do this:
    1. With the Red folder highlighted , ie: RN's click on the insert button. (To insert a new grade (job)).
    2. A grade codes maintenance screen will appear in front of you. In the codes field (for instance) type in RN1A4w , and then click Tab , in the description type RN1A 4 weeks annual leave and then click Tab .
    3. Click on the fixed pay rate and type in the value per week and the hours per week.
    4. Down toward the bottom of the screen, select your weighting and allowance tables. For the Annual Leave click on the down arrow and select the 4 week annual leave table . Select your sick leave and long service leave tables.
    5. Click Okay to save and close .

You will have to repeat steps 1 to 5 to set up the additional grades

Once this has all been completed, go into the Employees and click on the grades button, this is where you can assign the appropriate job grade to each employee.
